A protest is being held against Collin Brewer, the Cornwall Council member who said disabled children "should be put down".
Mr Brewer already resigned his seat when the comments first emerged but was voted back in again last month.
The peaceful protest – Collin Brewer Should Resign Again – will be held at Wadebridge on June 15 at 11am.
Mr Brewer faced a fresh backlash after comments came to light following his re-election in which he compared disabled children to deformed lambs.
Motorcyclists are expected to lead the march and organisers are hoping to have pipers also on board.
Both Devon and Cornwall Police and Cornwall Council are investigating Mr Brewer's comments. The West Briton revealed yesterday that the new leader of Cornwall Council, John Pollard, believed Mr Brewer's position was "untenable".
James Ball, protest organiser, said: "We are delighted that Cornwall Council and Devon and Cornwall Police are conducting their respective investigations, but in the interim, many people want to demonstrate their feelings towards the fact that someone who has such views should never hold a position in public office.
"Collectively, we are calling for Colin Brewer to stand down."
Mr Ball said it would be a peaceful protest with children welcome. The march will go from Goldsworthy Way to the council offices in Wadebridge.
He said: "We ask everyone attending to respect that and thank the Parent Carer Council and Disability Cornwall for their support with our mission."
