Danish teenager Mikkel Bech had a spectacular debut for Plymouth, who gained their first Premier League win of the season when they beat Glasgow 59-34 at the St Boniface Arena on Friday evening.
Bech dropped only two points – both to James Grieves – in his five rides as he top scored for the Devils and won the man of the match award from sponsors HSS Hire.
Overseeing promoter David Short said: "We were absolutely delighted with Bech's performance.
"It was a remarkable achievement to do so well on the first time he had seen the track.
"Overall it was a good win for us with the whole team riding extremely well."
Plymouth dominated from the start, with some consistent scores throughout the team, including eight (paid nine) from Leicester's Magnus Karlsson, who was guesting for the injured Ty Proctor.
The Devils had seven 5-1 heat wins and provided 11 of the 15 race winners.
Plymouth: Magnus Karlsson 8+1 (4 rides), Todd Kurtz 7+1 (4), Mikkel Bech 11+2 (5), Cory Gathercole 8+1 (4), Mark Lemon 10+2 (5). Reserves: Jake Anderson 8+1 (4), Chris Schramm 7+2 (4).
Glasgow: Joe Screen 9 (5), rider replacement for Joey Ringwood, Ashley Birks 5+2 (4), Henning Bager 8 (5), James Grieves 10+1 (5). Reserves: Harley Horwood 0 (4), Joe Jacobs 2 (7).
Plymouth will have Somerset's Nick Morris guesting for Proctor in Saturday's Premier League match away to Rye House.
Bech will not be available because he will be in Sweden competing in the European U21 championship and the Devils will use Josh Bates as a National League guest.
There is a fitness doubt over Mark Lemon, who suffered an elbow injury when he crashed in the final heat of Friday's win over Glasgow.
