DANCERS in Cury on the Lizard can strut their stuff with a firmer footing, thanks to a grant from the Goonhilly Wind Farm Community Fund.
The hall plays host to variety of local groups and activities including dances and theme nights, parties for children and pensioners, a weekly post-office, coffee mornings and much more.
Line dancers tested out the new flooring installed last month with great reviews.
The hall's Christopher Trounson said: "We do know it will make a huge difference and appreciate the generosity of the Goonhilly Community Fund in making this happen."
The Goonhilly Community Fund is available to community projects based in and for the benefit of people in the TR12 postcode area.
Operator REG Windpower donates £48,000 per year to support good causes in the local community. The deadline for applications for the next round of grants is 30 September 2013.
