SCHOOLCHILDREN lined the streets of Helston yesterday to cheer personnel from RNAS Culdrose, who were granted the freedom of the town.
With swords drawn, colours flying and drums beating, the troops marched through the town centre for the annual tradition.
The naval base was first granted the Freedom of the Borough of Helston in 1958.
