A number one smash hit single has been given the Cornish treatment thanks to two girls' music video.
Forget Carly Rae Jepson's number one single 'Call Me Maybe' – these two Cornish girls have recorded their own version with new lyrics using classic phrases heard in Cornwall every day.
The video, titled 'Call Me Dreckly', is an over-night internet hit racking up nearly 800 views and almost 200 'likes'.
Instead of Carly Rae Jepson's catchy chorus the girls belt out; "'ere I just met you, and this is 'ansum, but here's my number, so call me dreckly".
It also features lines such as; "I like your tractor", "smell that pasty cooking" and "Where you to tonight my bewty?"
And the girls seem to poke fun at themselves in the description of the video saying "Yes we are Cornish, and we are musically gifted as you can tell".
Dozens of comments praise their efforts with the shared across social media websites Twitter and Facebook.
Cornish comedian Kernow King picked up on the music video. Through his Twitter account he said, "Sum maids!" before sharing the video to over 10,000 followers.
