MEVAGISSEY Feast Week climaxed last night with the fantastic Mevagissey Carnival and a firework display that lit up the harbour.
The week-long community festival starts with the Fish Festival and is a kaleidoscope of music and entertainment for six days around the town's harbour area.
Highlights throughout the week included the Flora Dances, Mevagissey Male Choir concert, the Flower Festival and the ever popular crab catching contest.
But perhaps the most eye-catching entertainment this year was this all female Morris group performing to Gangnam Style, captured on video by Cornish Guardian reporter Caroline Chick.
Some kind of celebration has been taking place in Mevagissey for hundreds of years but in the current form the festival has been running since the 1960s.
It has seen some amazing sights – but few more captivating that Gangnam Morris Dancing.
