A man in his sixties was airlifted to Derriford Hospital after the tractor he was driving overturned and trapped him inside.
Fire fighters from Looe and Polruan and a rescue tender from Bodmin were called to the incident, which took place in Lanreath near Looe, at around 11am this morning.
A representative from Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service said when the crews arrived the man, in his early sixties, had already been released.
A representative from Devon and Cornwall police said the man's injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
Fire crews made the vehicle safe before leaving the scene.
