UPDATE 7.50pm: The road has now been cleared and traffic flow is said to be returning to normal.
EARLIER: The A390 is partially blocked following an accident involving two vehicles at Hewas Water, it has been said.
Traffic is said to be moving slow in both directions near the B3287 junction.
The incident is believed to have taken place at 5.25pm with traffic backed to as far as Tresillian.
