A fire broke out on Sunday evening above a shop on Market Strand in Falmouth, damaging the apartment and the shop below, Skoosh Frozen Yoghurt.
Up to 50 firefighters from Falmouth, Redruth, Helston, Camborne and Truro tackled the blaze, which began around 7pm. Crews used four sets of breathing apparatus, two main jets and a thermal imaging camera, as well as an aerial platform.
At around 9pm the fire was confirmed extinguished and crews were inspecting the scene and surrounding properties. Smoke and water damage to the shop is evident from outside the building.
Skoosh was opened on 26 May this year by husband-and-wife team Drew and Natasha Milne. It offers frozen yoghurt desserts.
