Commuters are facing long delays on the main road between Truro and Falmouth after two traffic incidents.
A large motorhome broke down on the A39 near Playing Place shortly before 5pm causing tailbacks in the area.
The traffic problems then worsened after a crash between a red Ford Fiesta and a blue Vauxhall Corsa on Arch Hill just after 5.10pm.
Police said nobody was seriously injured in the collision.
Recovery vehicles are understood to be on their way to both incidents but traffic is very heavy in the area.
