A Cornish community hospital is set to reopen on Monday following a major refurbishment and rebuilding programme. Stratton Community Hospital in Bude, which is run by the not-for-profit company Peninsula Community Health, will offer improved services to patients in a range of departments and a new ward. A number of community teams will also be based at the hospital. The project was funded by NHS Cornwall and Isles of Scilly, the primary care trust, and supported with money raised by the League of Friends of Stratton Hospital.
