Thursday - Sunday: Cornwall Film Festival: A PACKED programme at this weekend's Cornwall Film Festival at the Lighthouse Cinema, Newquay, promises to offer something for everyone and a new strand offers some particular treats for music fans this year. Music on Film brings a number of highly acclaimed music documentaries and live concert films that would not otherwise get the big screen treatment in Cornwall. Friday - Sunday: Heartlands, Pool: STEPHANIE Croydon, a student at Cornwall College Camborne, who is studying for a foundation degree (FdA Contemporary Creative Practice), is staging her first solo exhibition at Heartlands, Pool. It runs until November 30 and is a collection of textile, mixed media mining images.

Saturday: Going Viral, 7.30pm. Carn to Cove has a new Cornish company Going Viral who are bringing their new show Play It Again to Grampound Community Hall. The show explores the darker, more risky side of our online lives balanced with the humorous relationships that 15-year-old CJ has with his gran and also Bella 'the hottest girl in Year 11'. Saturday: Truro Cathedral. THE boys and men of Truro Cathedral Choir will be joined by 100 young people from local secondary schools and colleges to perform a jaw-dropping piece of music depicting a tropical storm. The concert is at the cathedral on Saturday at the earlier-than-usual time of 5pm.
SaturdaY: Military Wives' remembrance concert, Redruth Rugby Club. THERE will be a very special occasion at Redruth Rugby Club on Saturday when the famous Military Wives Choirs will be performing.PUBS:
Friday - Saturday: Beer and wine festival, The Watermill, Lelant Downs. There will be live music throughout, with food available all day. In conjunction with the festival on Saturday, from 10am, The Watermill will be holding our annual Big Breakfast in aid of Help for Heroes.
Friday - Sunday: The Norway Inn in Perranaworthal: AN AWARD-WINNING Cornish meat producer is collaborating with a local pub and restaurant to celebrate British Sausage Week, currently running until Sunday. This year's event takes place on Saturday at the Chi an Bobel Main Hall at Heartlands, Pool from 10am to 3pm. The event will start with the trust's annual meeting, open to members only, and talks will follow from 10.30am which are open to all.
Saturday: Wildlife Day at Falmouth's Princess Pavilion. Chewie the grass snake and his mammal friends arrive to entertain children and adults.
