A stunning array of flowers have been collected by National Trust staff for a famous Christmas garland which will be displayed at an historic property in Cornwall.
Like any garden, Cotehele, on the banks of the River Tamar, near Saltash, in South East Cornwall, suffered from this year's poor weather.
It meant only 20,000 flowers have been picked for the garland, instead of the usual 30,000.
Picking, which normally takes place in May, was also delayed until July.
Staff are now about to start work on the garland, which at 60ft long is the longest of any trust property in the country, which includes straw flowers, paper daisies and paper roses.
Visitors to Cotehele can watch the garland during the construction phase. The spectacular result can be seen daily through December, except Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
