Funding cuts have been blamed for a reduction in services offered at a centre for vulnerable people in Camborne. The Drop In and Share Centre (DISC) in the west Cornwall town, which helps a range of people with problems including the homeless, has suffered a 50% reduction in funding from various sources. Shrinking funds have led trustees at the organisation to make two members of staff redundant. Opening times Monday to Friday will remain the same but staff at the centre said they will not be able to offer individual, "tailor-made" support.
