A spaniel was almost spoilt for choice when it came to picking a saviour after falling down a mine shaft in Radnor near Redruth.
Several vehicles from the Fire Service were dispatched to the mine. On arrival crews found out exactly where in the shaft the dog was and set up line rescue.
Crews then proceeded to rescue the spaniel and reunite it with its grateful owner.
In all 20 personnel where involved in the rescue of the animal.
