A 70-YEAR-OLD man accused of sexually assaulting five girls over a 20-year period showed a number of them a pornographic version of Snow White and the Seven Dwarves, a court has heard.
Leslie Merton, of Penryn Road, Redurth, went on trial at Truro Crown Court on Monday accused sexually assaulting the young girls, who cannot be named for legal reasons on dates between 1983 to 2004.
Garth Richardson, for the Crown Prosecution Service, said the girls were aged between five to 15 when Merton assaulted them, some of them on numerous occasions and some of them just once.
He said one girl could remember being shown a pornographic version of Snow White and the Seven Dwarves.
"He showed the video to her and then got her to agree to do some of the things on the screen," said Mr Richardson, who said that included kissing with tongues.
"He told her it was their little secret," Mr Richardson added.
He said Merton showed the video to several of the girls and would play games with them, including hiding in the dark, which led to sexual assaults.
Merton, who denies all of the charges, is accused of nine counts of indecently assaulting one girl and five of indecency with a child in relation to her.
He faces three counts of indecent assault in relation to another girl, two in relation to a third and single counts of indecent assault in relation to fourth and fifth alleged victims.
The trial continues.
