It is top against bottom today in the Jolly's Drinks ECB Cornwall Premier League.
Fresh from their 50/50 Cup triumph last Sunday at Camborne , Werrington make a return journey down the A30 to play Troon at Treslothan Road.
The game, as with all others today, starts at the earlier time of noon to allow Cornwall's players an earlier start to Oxfordshire tonight.
Werrington opened up an 11-point lead at the top of the table last weekend after overcoming Callington at Ladycross by four wickets before a confidence-boosting win over St Just in the 50/50 Cup Final.
Seb Street's five wickets put the brakes on the St Just innings before Ben Smeeth and Adam Hodgson combined well to make unbeaten sixties.
Troon were well beaten at St Austell last weekend but will be heartened by the form of Matthew Rowe, who made a century.
St Just moved into second place last weekend after a fourth successive win, in which they have dropped just a single bonus point. After the run-fest against Falmouth they visit Hutchens Park for the derby against Paul.
Mark George should be back from holiday, having missed the last three games. Paul have been slipping down the table after three straight defeats and have only a ten-point cushion between themselves and bottom side Troon.
Callington are a point behind St Just in third place and have home advantage over Camborne. The county trio of Matt Robins, Jake Libby and Andrew Libby will need to put thoughts of Oxfordshire on the back burner as Camborne will be keen to get a result.
They have suffered narrow defeats against Paul, Falmouth and Truro in recent weeks and will be hoping things fall their way at New Road today. Elsewhere Falmouth travel to Truro smarting from last week's defeat at St Just and will be looking for a response.
Truro were pleased to record a win at Camborne last time out having had successive defeats. They still trail the leaders by 36 points, however.
St Austell host a Grampound Road side boosted by their first win of the season. They made short work of Paul last week, winning by nine wickets. Fourth-placed St Austell are in good form having seen off Truro and Troon convincingly in their last two games.
St Just have a busy weekend as tomorrow they take on Bovey Tracey in the ECB National T20 Area Finals Day at Pontarddulais in South Wales. The winners will play Sully Centurions or Bristol in the evening final.
