A SPECIAL delivery of Christmas trees has been cancelled due to adverse weather conditions.
A flotilla of boats was scheduled to take 24 trees from Tregothnan estate in Tresillian to Trelissick Gardens near Truro tomorrow, Saturday.
The delivery has been postponed until Saturday, December 1.
Last year stunned onlookers witnessed a 25ft Christmastree arriving at the NationalTrust garden by a makeshift raft, which was floated on the water at Tregothnan Quay with the large tree tied on top.
After two hours of paddling they eventually landed at Roundwood Quay on the other side of the river.
