The Cornish Pirates completed the signings of Redruth forwards Tom Duncan and Owen Hambly last night.
No.8 Duncan scored 18 tries in National League Two South last season and he has scored ten from 12 league starts so far this term.
He first played for Redruth at the age of 14 and made his senior debut in 2009.
The 22-year-old will be joined at Mennaye Field by flanker Hambly, who returns to the Pirates for a second stint after spells with the Cornish All Blacks and Redruth.
The former England Under-16 and Under-18 international played for the Pirates during the 2006-07 season.
Both players will train with Pirates once a week and will be available to Redruth on loan for the rest of this season.
Pirates head coach Ian Davies may need to consider searching for another fly-half over the coming weeks after Kieran Hallett limped out of their home Championship victory over Nottingham yesterday.
Davies is already without Aaron Penberthy, who is resting a long-term groin injury, while Jonny Bentley is still recovering from an Achilles tendon problem.
Goal-kicker Grant Pointer is out with a torn hamstring. They will also be without dual-registered Exeter Chiefs backs Sam Hill and Jack Nowell for the upcoming British and Irish Cup games against Swansea.
Davies said: "Kieran limping off is a concern because we are already missing Aaron. Sam Hill and Jack Nowell are with England Under-20s over the next couple of weeks, so we haven't got them. It does put a bit of pressure on us. With Grant Pointer out, we will also need to find someone who can kick some goals."
