A CALLOUS thief swiped a charity box containing £180 from a post office counter while a member of staff's back was turned.
At about 5.30pm on Monday, December 3, police said a man went up to the counter of the post office in Lostwithiel and requested a driving licence application form.
As the member of staff turned around, the man reportedly took the charity box which was for a children's charity.
The man is described as white, in his early twenties; about 6ft tall, of slim build, wearing a dark beanie hat and a jacket.
