With its stunning views across one of the Westcountry's most desirable spots, four poster beds and its own cinema room, this stunning £7 million beach house could be the perfect hideaway for A-list celebrities.

The five-bedroom holiday home, boasting uninterrupted sea views across Booby's Bay in North Cornwall, golf course to the rear and beach at the front, looks like the kind of property reserved strictly for the rich and famous.

But you too could sample its luxury, designer furniture and landscaped garden – provided you can afford the weekly rental, which starts at a cool £6,615 a week.

Little Polgarron is the latest addition to an exclusive portfolio of properties belonging to SimonEscapes, the luxury travel venture from entrepreneur Simon Nixon, founder of the moneysupermarket.com and travelsupermarket.com websites floated on the stock exchange for £850 million.

The property was designed by Totnes-based architects Harrison Sutton Partnership, and has interior "coastal hip vibe" design by celebrity chef Rick Stein's ex-wife, Jill. With Trevose Head golf course to the rear and direct beach access from the front of the house, the property can sleep up to ten.

It features a cinema room with a 50in screen, five en-suite bedrooms with uninterrupted sea views and balconies, a glass and stainless steel curved staircase, and original, locally-sourced art and sculptures.

The interiors, which cost more than £750,000, are Jill Stein's first commercial project outside the Stein food business. Designer luxury is in every room – from the kitchen appliances by Gaggenau, dining table from New York, Cherner chairs and beds from Plymouth luxury bed maker ViSpring. On the ground floor, windows open onto the acre of garden landscaped with Cornish plants and grasses.

Guests have access to a personal concierge service to look after their needs, and can take part in a "wild food" walk and cooking experience with Jack Stein, from Padstow's The Seafood Restaurant.

Mr Nixon, who has been holidaying in Cornwall for the past ten years, said: "At Little Polgarron we have one of the UK's most desirable locations as well as some of UK's finest food and seafood on our doorstep. My hope is that any stay at Little Polgarron will leave guests as adoring of the area as I am."

Malcolm Bell, head of Visit Cornwall, said: "Cornwall has a lot of A-list visitors from the UK and USA. A house like this highlights the Cornwall brand. Affluent visitors are bringing their money which is making Cornwall an aspirational destination and driving the local economy.

"I would rather have their money here than in the Caribbean."
