A MOTORCYLIST is in a critical condition after his bike collided with a car near St Ives yesterday evening.
The 26-year-old man, who lives and works locally, sustained serious injuries in the crash on the A3074 St Ives Road at Carbis Bay at around 6.25pm.
The driver of the car, a woman from the Hayle area, was in shock but did not go to hospital.
The vehicles involved in the collision were a Yamaha 125 motorcycle and a grey Toyota Auris.
