A 34-year-old man has been charged with grievous bodily harm with intent over an attack in a Cornish village in October. Lee Stokes, from Widegates, near Looe in South East Cornwall, was arrested shortly after the incident in Polruan on Sunday, October 7. At the time, police said a car driver had been assaulted by a pedestrian after an altercation in Fore Street. The driver sustained facial injuries and was taken to Plymouth's Derriford Hospital.
