ARSONISTS are suspected of setting fire to a car in Greensplat, near St Austell, last night.
St Austell firefighters jumped into action after receiving a call at about 10.30pm that a car was well alight in a layby in Greensplat.
The fire crew used breathing apparatus and two hose reels jets to put out the flames.
It is thought the fire was started deliberately and the police have been informed.
