A HEALTH and Safety investigation has been launched at the former film studio in St Agnes after a lorry overturned injuring a man at the site.Taylor Wimpey has been granted permission for 74 new homes on the site off Penwinnick Road.
South West Ambulance said a man in his 50s was taken to Treliske hospital with head and leg injuries. The incident happened around 10.40am yesterday (JAN 10) and did not involve any other vehicles. Its believed the lorry overturned while it was loading a skip at the site.
The building firm said: "Health and safety is paramount to Taylor Wimpey so we acted swiftly following an incident at St Agnes. We have launched an investigation to establish what caused the lorry to overturn."
