Finnacially-troubled Truro City will take a squad of just 12, or possibly 13, to Billericay Town for their opening Blue Square Bet South game of the season on Saturday. Both Andy Watkins (groin) and Stewart Yetton (hamstring) are out injured, while player-manager Lee Hodges starts the first game of a two match ban. Hodges had agreed two loan signings from Plymouth Argyle this week, but the League refused to allow the signings, as the pair are contract players and under the terms of the continuing transfer embargo at Treyew Road, only non-contract players can be signed. City are still without the injured Marcus Martin and Steve Adams, who could be out out for another four to six weeks, while no date has yet been set for the return of Martin Watts who missed the whole of last season. City squad: Tim Sandercombe, Dan Green, Jake Ash, Joe Broad, Ben Adlesbury, Adam Kelly Cody Cooke, Arran Pugh, Les Afful Keiffer Moore, Ben Williams and Danny Carne. Reserve team player Calrone Hall agreed to sign last night, but this was still subject to League approval. City's first home game is against Havant & Waterlooville on Tuesday evening (7.45pm).
