TV presenter Caroline Quentin reiterated her love for Cornwall as she opened a damp Newlyn Fish Festival today.
The presenter of hit ITV show Cornwall, which is due for a second series, arrived at the festival with full television crew in the rain.
But the skies brightened as she took to the main stage in pink wellies, jeans and a navy rain jacket to declare the 22nd annual festival of the sea officially open.
The festival raises funds for the Royal National Mission to Deep Sea Fishermen.
Chairman David Harris said: "Up to now we have been very lucky with the weather and we just hope it will hold today. I hope despite the weather it will be another successful fish festival."
