A quantity of cash and an expensive ring were stolen during a broad daylight burglary at a house in Bude last week.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident which occurred at a property in Penny Lane at around 3.10pm on Monday, January 14.

Police said the offender, who was seen to ride off on a bicycle, is described as being a white man aged in his 20's, approximately 6ft in height, of slight build and wearing jeans and a beany hat.
