A flood alert has been issued for west Cornwall as the area braces itself for more wet weather.
The Environment Agency has warned of localised flooding at Land's End, Hayle, St Ives and Crowlas with fears that river levels could rise.
And it forecast more rain on the way for tonight and the weekend.
"This will cause rivers to rise and may cause localised flooding," said a spokesperson for the agency.
"We will continue to monitor the situation and issue updates accordingly."
The Met Office has also issued a yellow weather warning for rain in the region from 3pm this afternoon until midnight tonight. The poor weather could also lead to travel disruption, the forecaster added.
