Truro City chairman  Pete Masters wants the future of the club's Treyew Road ground settled before the end of the season.

A club statement, issued this evening, said that further meetings had taken place between representatives of the ground owners Helical Bar and  the club this week.

The statement added that number of options  had been discussed, which included the land currently earmarked for the Stadium for Cornwall, along with the possibility of the  club ground sharing from next season, whilst a new facility was being put into place.

Mr Masters, who along with Philip Perryman saved the club from going out of existence said: "Given what has happened prior to both Philip and I arriving at the club on 19th December 2012, much has been done to secure the club's very existence and that of it status within the Blue Square Conference League.

"However, there is still a long way to go both on and off the field.

"It is important from the club's perspective, particularly its first team, to agree the future of the playing facility before the end of the season  to enable us to implement our five-year plan to play Conference Premier League football within the City."
