A man seen wandering around Stithians yesterday without shoes has not yet been traced, according to the latest police update.
Officers raised the alarm yesterday after the man was seen in various locations in the early hours.
He is described as in his early 20s, about 5ft 6in tall, and of slim build. He was wearing a black baggy jumper, but nothing on his feet.
When first spotted he was wearing dirty, cream coloured trousers but these were later discarded.
Officers are concerned for the man's welfare in the current very cold weather.
It is believed he may have been sleeping rough in outbuildings.
Anyone who sees the man is urged to contact the police on 101 quoting log 0118 of 110313. The man should not be approached.
