Police are urging people to be vigilant after a number of thefts and burglaries from rural areas.
A total of 21 bales of hay were stolen from two farms in Penryn and Stithians, along with a number of other items.
The first was overnight on March 5-6 at Burnthouse, Penryn when seven bales of hay and straw, a wheelbarrow, a sack of carrots and some hay nets were taken.
The same night a three foot long galvanised trough with compartments was stolen from a field in Treliever Road, Mabe.
Overnight last Tuesday 14 bales of hay, a welder, disc cutter, grinder, socket set and a pressure washer were stolen from Tretheague Farm in Stithians.
On Sunday a cement mixer was stolen from Dearrock and Brown at United Downs Industrial Estate.
The police are urging people to ensure they report these types of crime.
