A ST AUSTELL mobile phone shop is holding a major fundraiser this weekend.
As part of the Tour De O2 challenge to raise £100,000 to support young people the town's O2 is hoping to raise the roof and lots of money for social action projects led by young people in their local areas.
The O2 Think Big has spurred on staff at the St Austell shop to enlist the help of three local bands, Hold the Sun, Honey and People Republic, who will play a special gig outside the Eden Café this Saturday from 2pm.
Local traders are also supporting the event and there will be a bungee trampoline, bouncy castle and face-painting. Some of the takings will be donated to Think Big.
Rebecca Dean, franchise support manager in O2 Retail and organiser of the Tour de O2, said:"Everyone at O2 is committed to helping young people make a positive difference in their communities.
"The money raised will allow young people to apply for funding to support projects that can dramatically change their own and other people's lives for the better."
