A SUCCESSFUL year was reported to members of the Helston and St Keverne Young Farmers' Club at its annual meeting.
On Thursday at Trewennack Chapel the room was full and reports on the past year were given by treasurer Diana Williams and the club leader Matthew Williams.
The election of officers followed and all posts were filled.
On the following evening the club's annual harvest supper and auction was held at St Keverne Village Hall.
Local parish councillor Derek Keverne auctioned the items that members had brought ranging from apples to a butternut squash.
The evening concluded with entertainment.
Members were told the club's dinner and dance was being held at the Greenlawns Hotel, Falmouth on October 26, starting at 7pm for 7.30pm. Tickets are £20 each and are available from Diana Williams on 07854 727099 or Hannah Smith on 07792 2645575.
This week's club meeting is yoga at Mullion School at 7.30pm.
