A 52 year old man has died after an accident on the A30 at Chybucca, Cornwall.
David Mason from Truro was the rider of a Kawasaki motorcycle involved in the collision with another motorcycle and a pickup truck on Saturday.
The incident happened at around 10.35 a.m. when Mr Mason was travelling west in the same direction as the truck.
Police say his bike was in collision with the truck before hitting the second motorcycle which was travelling in the opposite direction.
As a result, Mr Mason died at the scene. The rider of the other motorcycle, a 23-year-old man suffered an arm injury.
The driver and passenger of the truck were not injured.
The road was closed until 4.15pm to allow a forensic examination of the scene and vehicle recovery.

Mr Mason's family have have released a tribute to him
He lived with his wife Lisa and her two children Lauren and Daniel.
They said: "Dave was a 'larger than life' hard working, loving and caring man. He was a talented robotics engineer and worked on the cutting edge of projects which he promoted across Europe.
"He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, also finding the opportunity to pursue sailing, gardening, extending the family home and at weekends the freedom of riding his motor bike across Cornwall.
"He had a brilliant sense of humour with an infectious laugh. He will be very sadly missed by all his family, friends and his colleagues at work including the contacts and customers he made across the continent."
