Plymouth RNLI's inshore and all-weather lifeboat were launched to assist a powerboat stuck on a mud bank near Hole's Hole on the River Tamar.
The all-weather lifeboat's Y boat - a smaller inflatable lifeboat - was launched and proceeded up the river with the inshore craft.
Using both lifeboats crews dragged the powerboat off the mud on the incoming tide and towed it to Saltash using just the inshore lifeboat.
