TRURO firefighters were called to a large lorry carrying a swing shovel on fire today.
A crew of six attended the A39, Playing Place, at noon.
A spokesman for the fire service said: "Fortunately firefighters got the blaze under control.
"Once the fire was out, crews refilled from a hydrant and returned to the scene to damp down any remaining hotspots."
