The entire contents of the Falmouth Beach Hotel will be on sale at a special auction this month.
A blaze at the hotel destroyed a large part of the building last April and although plans were drawn up and approved for a new hotel, owner Hazel Evans announced in January that she was putting the site on the market.
Part of the site was unaffected, including some of the bedrooms and the leisure club and furniture, laundry equipment, a baby grand piano, bedding, crockery, cutlery, pictures and other items were saved.
Auctioneer Philip Buddell has been asked to sell the items and this will take place at the hotel site on April 27 starting at 10am.
A preliminary list will be available next week, and full catalogues in the week of the auction. For more details visit www.pbauctions.co.uk.
