The Cornish Pirates are back on the road this weekend for their penultimate match this season in the RFU Championship when they travel to Nottingham on Sunday to face the Green & Whites at Meadow Lane (1.15pm).
Following last weekend's cup defeat to Munster and a midweek loss in Yorkshire against Rotherham Titans Ian Davies' troops must throw off the effects of fatigue if they are to take anything from what will be a tough game against the promotion contenders.
Nottingham currently lie second in the table and have only lost to Rotherham and Newcastle Falcons on home soil this season as they have enjoyed their best Championship campaign to date.
Head coach Martin Haag, a former Pirates favourite, has just penned a new two year deal and has named a strong team to face the Cornish side.
Flanker Brent Wilson, the Championship`s top try scorer with 13, skippers the team and fly-half James Arlidge in his final season at Meadow Lane will be looking to add to his 220 points.
Wing Rhys Crane makes his first start since fracturing a leg in January and hooker Joe Duffey also return to the side.
The Pirates have Gavin Cattle and Aaron Penberthy back as a half back unit whilst Kyle Moyle keeps his place at full-back.
In a much changed line-up from the defeat at Clifton Lane Laurie McGlone, Kyle Marriott, Tom Riley, Rob Elloway and Kieran Hallett also return to the squad.
