UPDATE: 9:30am: Falmouth Coastguard said it has offically ceased searching for the two missing French fishermen who were washed overboard their vessel last night. It said there are still French fishing vessels in the area, however, but that it had been some time since the incident happened.
UPDATE 7:45am: TWO French fishermen are still missing after they reportedly went overboard near to the Scilly Isles last night.
Falmouth Coastguard say the search for the two fishermen, who were not wearing lifejackets when they entered the water, is on-going.
The search is being jointly co-ordinated by Falmouth Coastguard and the French Coastguard.
It issued this statement just before midnight last night:

"The two fishermen were wearing yellow oil skins, but no lifejackets or buoyancy aids when they were washed overboard. Sadly, despite an intensive search we have been unable to locate them."
The RNLI's St Mary's all-weather lifeboat was launched at 6:30pm to help in the search for the two fisherman.
The crew of the 25-metre fishing vessel Neway had set out from Roscoff on Monday 8 April, according to real-time information provided by the website MarineTraffic.com. She was trawling about 50km North West of the Scilly Isles when the incident occurred.
The Rescue 193 helicopter, from RNAS Culdrose was also in attendance and worked alongside the lifeboat and six French fishing boats but later returned to base, according to Falmouth Coastguard.
The vessel Neway is based at Paimpol, Brittany and registered as PL711723.
