The Earl of Wessex will visit the Hall for Cornwall on Monday 29 April.
Prince Edward was appointed as the theatre's patron in 2007 as part of the venue's 10th anniversary gala.
The prince plays an active role in promoting the arts and is patron to over a dozen organisations.
No further details have been released about the visit.
