The West Cornwall Branch of the National Autistic Society is holding an open meeting at the Penventon Hotel in Redruth on Wednesday (April 24).
It will explore "autistic thinking, sensory processing and the effects on communication."
Three members of the local intensive support team will be giving presentations - Dr Alex Clark, clinical psychologist; Sarah Browne, occupational therapist; and Liz Boardman, speech and language therapist.
There will be three half-hour talks and an opportunity for questions afterwards.
Parents, carers, professionals and people with autism are all welcome.
There will be no need to rush away afterwards as there will be a chance to chat and use the library.
The meeting will run from 7pm to 9pm, with free entry. Further information is available from Tracey Mears on 07901 103351.
