AN INVESTIGATION is continuing today into the cause of a fire that destroyed a property in South East Cornwall.
Fire crews from Liskeard and Callington were called to the two-storey cottage at Pengover Green, between Liskeard and Quethiock, at around 8.55pm last night.
They spent seven hours at the property, eventually standing down at around 3.30am this morning.
The property was destroyed, having gone undetected for several hours, fire fighters said.
The British Red Cross Fire and Emergency Support Service from Plymouth also attended to offer support to the residents of the cottage.
