A man has been arrested following an alleged sexual assault on a teenage girl. The 33-year-old man from Launceston was taken into custody after two 15-year-old girls were approached by a man in the town in broad daylight on April 11. He is understood to have grabbed one of the girls before touching her inappropriately. The other girl is thought to have resisted his advances before both girls left the scene on Dockacre Road. The man has been released on bail until May 10.
