ONE OF Cornwall's most famous pasty crimpers was celebrated at Pool Academy this weekend.
Great grandmother Eunice Woolcock from Camborne got through the regional heats of ITV's Food Glorious Food recently.
But despite being knocked out at the semi final stage her pasty has been described as one of the greatest Cornish pasties by judge Tom Parker-Bowles.
Yesterday family and friends of the 93-year-old organised a surprise party to mark her fame and success.
Grandchild Shaun Hosking said: "We organised the party to celebrate gran's achievements on Food Glorious Food.
"Since appearing on the show she has had many messages of support from family and friends and we thought that it would be nice if everyone had a chance to get together to celebrate her achievements.
"We invited family and friends, some that she has not seen for a while."
Mrs Woolcock received more than 4,200 likes on Facebook during her TV appearances.
