CORNWALL has a new landmark to mark the county's boundary - a 20 metre high Celtic cross.
The Saltash Cornish Cross was lifted into place by two cranes last night.
The two-tonne cross made of carbon fibre and resin impregnated with copper travelled from Newquay Airport to reach its destination alongside the Tamar Bridge late last night.
The cross was created with £450,000 of Lottery funding and Saltash Town Council gave £50,000 towards the cost.
