A WOMAN has been rushed to hospital following a carbon monoxide leak at her St Austell home this morning.
One fire engine and a wholetime officer were scrambled to the incident in Hill Park Crescent at about 9.30am.
After firefighters wearing breathing equipment detected high levels of the deadly gas inside, they ventilated the home and requested an ambulance.
A woman was sent to the Royal Cornwall Hospital at Treliske, Truro, for a precautionary check-up.
