A man had to be rescued from the mud at Penryn River after getting trapped.
He had been taking photographs when he became stuck in the soft mud on Thursday evening.
The coastguard mud rescue team managed to get him out using specialist equipment.
However as the water had come in, it was decided to call the lifeboat to take him to shore.
The incident happened at Gorrangorras Creek just before 8pm.
