Firefighters were called to Polkerris shortly before 3pm this afternoon to rescue a lamb.
The animal was trapped approximately 40m down a cliff.
Specialist crews from Fowey, St Austell and Bodmin attended the scene.
The alarm was raised by the RSPCA.
