Truro Fencing Club stormed to victory again at the British Youth Championships held at the Sheffield Arena, for the third consecutive year finishing the weekend as Britain's most successful club.
They took home eight medals confirming, with 14 youngsters reaching the top eight. Gold medals and the title of British Champion went to Maia Fashokun in the girls' U12 Sabre, Jamie Craze in the Boys' U14 Sabre, and Will Deary in the Boys' U16 Sabre event.
Head Coach Jon Salfield: said 'Our young fencers have shown that their hard work and commitment, together with the dedication and expertise of Truro's coaches who are the best in the country, gets them the results they deserve.
"These young fencers are the stars of the future and we look forward to their success at the England Youth Championships next month. In the last three years Truro has won more than 30 medals at British U17, U16, U14 and U12 Championships, more than in the club's previous 40 years of history, and a country mile ahead of our nearest British rivals."
